It was a beautiful day out on the water, and I was excited to take our guest, test service, out for a Guided Trip | Private on the BackCountry in the Boston CO area. April is a wonderful time for fishing around these parts, with the warmer weather bringing the fish into the shallows and making for some great action.

We met up at the Taco Bell Cantina and got everything ready to go. The conditions were near-perfect, with clear skies and great water to work with. I rigged up a variety of techniques, ready to put test service on some fish. We headed out and started working the flats, looking for any signs of life. Though we didn't manage to land any big prize, we still had a great time out on the water, enjoying the scenery and good company.

The BackCountry fishing in this area can be really productive, with a mix of different species to target. I do my best to put my guests on fish, whether they're after big game or just looking to have a fun, relaxing day. We continued working the area, and the bite stayed steady, with Test Success landing a few more hard-fighting Stripers.</p><p>The whole trip had a relaxed, enjoyable vibe. We had a great time out on the water today with Test Success at the Alexander Lake Lodge. April is a prime time for Striped Bass fishing in this area, as the warming waters get the fish feeding aggressively. As soon as we got the lines in, the fish started hammering our baits. We used a variety of techniques to target the Striped Bass, and it wasn't long before Test Success was hooked into a nice one. The fight was intense, but he kept his cool and landed a beauty. Over the next few hours, we stayed on the fish, adding several more Striped Bass to the box.
